Our desire is to be a church that is defined and shaped by the three words: Love. Pray. Go!

Love

In Matthew 22:37-39, Jesus said, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’” As a church family, we aim to love one another selflessly and biblically. Our desire is that we grow deeply united in our love for Christ and one another as we seek to understand and apply the teachings of Scripture to our individual lives.

Pray

A loving church must be a praying church. The apostle Paul, in Galatians 6:2, calls all believers to “bear one another’s burden, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.” Here at Heritage, we long to be known as a church that prays often, prays together, and prays for one another. We believe strongly that God hears our prayers and works through them to bring glory and honor to His Name.

Go

Lovingly and prayerfully, Heritage aspires to be a church defined by movement. As each member of our church family takes their next step of faith, we will inevitably leave our comfort zones behind and live boldly for Christ. In Mark 16:15, Jesus called upon His followers to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all nations.”  Repeatedly, God’s Word reminds us that we are to live on mission to bring glory to Christ. We encourage and expect each other to step out in faith, walk with God, and go share the gospel with others.
