Pastor Kevin was born and raised in a small town located on the western border of Kentucky and Tennessee. After coming to know Christ at a young age, he began to sense the Lord calling him into ministry as a teenager and attended Samford University, in Birmingham, Alabama to prepare for this endeavor. After graduating from Samford, he served for two years as a missionary in East Africa and returned to the states to attend seminary, at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina (SEBTS) where he graduated with a Masters of Divinity degree.  It was during this time at seminary that Kevin met his wife Joy (Bennett) from Asheville, North Carolina. Following graduation, Pastor Kevin and Joy moved to Kingsland, GA, where he served for eleven years in youth and family ministry at Kingsland First Baptist. There they adopted two amazing boys, Elijah and Cooper, who keep the Wright’s young and fun. It was also during this time of ministry that God burdened Kevin with a heart for hurting families and gave him a passion for counseling.  In May 2017, Kevin graduated with his Doctorate of Ministry in Biblical Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Kevin is also a certified biblical counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC).

In March of 2015, the Wright family moved to New England for Pastor Kevin to serve at Heritage as the Pastor of Counseling and Family Ministries. In November of 2021 Kevin began serving as the interim Teaching Pastor. Over the next few months it became clear to Pastor Kevin and the elders that God was calling him to be the next Teaching Pastor at Heritage. Confirmed by the congregation in March of 2022, Kevin stepped into the Teaching Pastor role where he currently serves.

A New England native, Pastor Alex was born and raised in Western Massachusetts. He trusted Christ at a young age, and through involvement in his church’s youth group and a summer camp’s leadership program, Alex sensed a call to youth ministry. He followed that call to Nyack College, where he met his wife, Kate, who is also a New England native. While completing his BS in Youth and Family Studies, Alex became involved as a youth ministry volunteer at Pascack Bible Church in Hillsdale, New Jersey. He continued to serve as an intern, part-time staff, and full-time Minister of Students there. During that time, Alex completed his MA in Theology and Ministry, with an emphasis on Youth, Family, and Culture from Fuller Theological Seminary. He also taught a few courses in youth ministry as an adjunct professor at Nyack College and Capital Seminary. After a decade of ministry in New Jersey, Alex and Kate felt a call back to New England and followed God’s leading to Heritage. Alex began serving as the Youth Pastor at Heritage in 2021.

Alex and Kate have two children, Evelyn and Ethan. Alex enjoys cooking, watching sports, and playing board games.
