AWANA

AWANA uses Scripture memorization, athletic games, and direct teaching to disciple children. Heritage offers AWANA for children 2 years old through 6th grade, meeting September through May.

  • Listen to students recite verses
  • Teach occasional lessons
  • Serve as a leader or helper
  • Assist with games

Children’s Sunday School

Our Sunday School program offers children 4 years old through Grade 6 a systematic study of the Bible through creative learning experiences at age-appropriate levels of understanding and application. Classes are held from 9:00 to 9:45am on Sunday mornings.

  • Teaching or assisting in the classroom on a rotating schedule.

Junior Church

Our junior church program meets during the sermon time on Sunday mornings. It is a teaching time for children ages 4 through 4th grade.

  • Teaching or helping in a classroom. This is on a rotating basis, so you won’t serve every week.

Meal Ministry

Our meal ministry provides meals for those who have had surgery, a death in the family, or are experiencing a long-term illness. This is on a voluntary basis, as you are able to provide a meal.


Music Ministry

Our music ministry helps lead us into worship by providing excellent and God-honoring music that invites congregational participation. We welcome anyone who is a musician at Heritage to get involved in the music ministry, whether on stage or behind the scenes.

Media Ministry

The media ministry uses contemporary media to further our mission of making disciples who make disciples. The media team manages the website and social media, produces video announcements and sermon illustrations, and develops graphics to be used at Heritage.

Nursery

We provide nursery care for children ages birth through 3 before and during our worship service.


Vacation Bible School

Our VBS program is a ministry to the children in the church and an outreach to the community. 2019 VBS is scheduled for June 24th-28th.  It will be held Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 12:00pm.

  • Security and Logistics – we usually have 150+ children

Princeton Play Station

PPS meets on Tuesdays from 9a-12p end of November through the end of March.  We are in need of individuals for our committee as well as those who would like to be here to meet the moms or help with clean up.

Special Ministries

Special Ministries needs you! Would you consider serving with us as we offer encouragement and assistance to families and individuals affected by disabilities so that they too may worship fully, fellowship freely and serve willingly as part of the body of Christ?


Welcome Center

Our Welcome Center not only provides information for those who are new to our church but is also a way to connect visitors to ministries and to our pastors.  This commitment is usually every other month. You are responsible to be in the Welcome Center from 9:45 am to 10:00am and then following the service.


Greeters

Our greeters have the important role of welcoming anyone as they enter the church on Sunday morning. They are stationed at the entrances and wear a big smile! Depending on the number of greeters, the commitment varies from every month to every other month.


Fellowship Ministry

Our Fellowship ministry is responsible for serving food for a number of functions at the church. This includes funerals, our annual chicken barbecue, our annual meeting, and our Easter brunch.

  • Clean up and set up for events
  • Serving the food at events

Facilities

This ministry takes care of the inside of the church building and any issues that may arise throughout the yearWe are always looking for those who are available to do small tasks to help maintain the building.  These would include painting the inside rooms, doing minor repair, installing missing ceiling tiles, etc.
